MUMBAI: Kid animation content creator and distributor One Take Media Co has done a deal with over the top (OTT) service iflix, Malaysia to launch a their premium kids animated movies and series on iflix platform. The content list includes most popular tv series like Nori, Simba - The Lion King , The Legend of Snow White and many more.

iflix is the world’s leading entertainment OTT service for emerging markets, offering users unlimited access to thousands of TV shows, movies and more. Iflix subscriptions allow users to access the service on up to five devices, including smartphone, laptop, tablet and television sets.The deal will see OTMC’s premium content featuring on both iflixVIP, the platform’s traditional Subscription Video on Demand tier, and iflixFREE, the platform’s ad-supported tier, in SAARC countries.
Kids genre is 4th largest genre in India after GEC and Movie genres. Kids genre viewership has grown from 30% in last few years and growth in Kids viewership corresponds to 27% growth of overall TV Universe. Kids are the single largest TV Audience amongst all the Age Groups. The share of Cartoons/Animation in total kids Viewership has jumped to 89% from previously 71%.
This comes as no surprise when you consider the opportunity children's content presents. Children make up a sizeable audience, and consequently can open up new revenue streams for SVOD players that have previously ignored this demographic.
